The Orlando Margarita Ball is an invitation-only, black-tie charitable event held each November. Founded in 1983, the Ball brings together Central Florida’s business and community leaders for an evening of celebration that provides thousands of holiday gifts to children in need. There is no admission charge, no tickets, and no auction. Your admission is a new, unwrapped toy or gift valued at a minimum of $50 per guest. See our Gift Ideas page for full guidance.
Invitations are printed and distributed individually by our Directors. There are no digital invitations, QR codes, or guest lists, only the original printed invitation is accepted at the door. If you have attended before, contact the Director who invited you. If you do not know a Director, a limited number of two-guest invitations may be available on a first-come, first-served basis by emailing invites@orlandomargaritasociety.com.
Yes. Each printed invitation admits two guests. Both guests will need to bring a qualifying gift for entry.
Black Tie Optional. Gentlemen may wear a tuxedo or a dark suit, but a tie is required for admission. Ladies wear formal long or short dresses. Casual attire, denim, and sneakers are not permitted. Full details are on our Attire page.
A new, unwrapped toy or gift valued at $50 or more, suitable for a child between the ages of 4 and 18. Gifts for teens, especially teenage girls, are always in the shortest supply. See our Gift Ideas page for full guidance and examples.
The morning after the Ball, our Directors sort and distribute every gift to carefully vetted Central Florida charities serving children who are often overlooked by larger holiday toy drives. A Board member personally attends each distribution to see the gifts placed directly into children’s hands.
We recommend it. Valet parking at the Rosen Centre frequently reaches capacity given the size of the Ball, and staying overnight lets you avoid parking altogether and celebrate responsibly. Discounted rooms and dining packages are available. See our Hotel page for details.
